Our Services
Pulmonary Diseases
We handle a wide variety of diseases, including:
Asthma
Our specialty is finding the right combination of drugs, refining medication plans and managing complex cases to include the latest therapies for asthma. Our care includes periodic testing and patient education to improve your quality of life.
COPD
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which includes chronic bronchitis and emphysema, is a time-consuming and complex disease to manage. Our specialized nursing care helps you navigate the complex process needed for a speedy diagnosis and lifelong management.
Solitary Pulmonary Nodules
We provide complete care from diagnosis through treatment in conjunction with a team that includes thoracic surgery, radiation oncology, medical oncology and pulmonary medicine. EvergreenHealth is a recognized leader in radiation oncology with one of the most advanced linear accelerators in the world.
Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD)
This broad group of diseases, which includes idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and nonspecific interstitial pneumonitis, can mimic COPD and other pulmonary diseases, making diagnosis difficult. Bronchoscopy, biopsy and other diagnostic testing may be used to confirm the diagnosis.
Better Breathers Support Group
Consider attending the Better Breathers support group if you have emphysema, bronchitis, asthma and other respiratory diseases.
At each monthly meeting, there will be a presentation and discussions on various topics relating to the unique needs of people whose breathing is compromised.
The group meets the second Wednesday of each month, 12:30-2 p.m. (except for July and August).
