EvergreenHealth To Close Sammamish Urgent Care Location
The urgent care location will close on Sept. 27, 2024.
SAMMAMISH, WA – EvergreenHealth, an independent community-owned hospital system, is closing the EvergreenHealth Urgent Care, Sammamish location effective Sept. 27, 2024.
The closure comes as part of EvergreenHealth's ongoing evaluation of programs and services in response to the financial challenges faced since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. EvergreenHealth leaders regularly review operational and fiscal performance to identify improvement opportunities.
Through this review, EvergreenHealth leadership determined that volume trends at the Sammamish Urgent Care location continue to decline as a result of the saturation of urgent cares throughout our region.

It's important to note that this decision is not a reflection on the hard work and dedication of our team but a response to external factors and increased competition in the community," said EvergreenHealth's Executive Medical Director of Emergency Services Kevin Hanson, MD.
