EvergreenHealth Appoints Dr. David Likosky to Interim Chief Medical & Quality Officer
KIRKLAND, Wash. — David Likosky, MD, MBA, FACP, has been appointed interim Chief Medical and Quality Officer (CMQO) of EvergreenHealth, the community-owned public hospital district and two-hospital healthcare system effective Dec. 24, 2023. Dr. Likosky's appointment comes after former CMQO Ettore Palazzo, MD, FACP, was appointed to CEO of EvergreenHealth.
Dr. Likosky joined EvergreenHealth in 2000 and is an outstanding practitioner, researcher, teacher, widely published author and a sought-after speaker both locally and nationally. He has continued to exhibit his commitment to the highest quality of care and exceptional patient outcomes as a physician and as a tireless leader at EvergreenHealth.

Dr. Likosky, both an internal medicine and neurohospitalist, has served in multiple leadership roles, including as EvergreenHealth's medical staff president. He was also the founding executive medical director of the Eastside Neuroscience Institute and EvergreenHealth's Neuroscience Institute and the founding medical director of EvergreenHealth's DNV-certified Comprehensive Stroke Center.
In addition to his work at EvergreenHealth, Dr. Likosky is co-founder of the Neurohospitalist Society, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), a Senior Fellow in Hospital Medicine (SFHM), a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology (FAAN), and a Fellow of the American Heart Association (FAHA). He also is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Washington and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
