EvergreenHealth Spine & Neurosurgical Care Welcomes Emily Estabrook, PA-C

Kirkland, Wash. – EvergreenHealth recently welcomed Emily Estabrook, PA-C, to its team of skilled providers in its Kirkland-based Spine and Neurosurgical Care practice.

Estabrook is a board-certified physician assistant and athletic trainer. She specializes in caring for patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions using the least invasive techniques for treating spine, back and neck issues.

"We're excited to have Emily join our team of skilled and compassionate providers on our spine and neurosurgical care team," said Mark Freeborn, MD, chief medical officer of EvergreenHealth Medical Group. "Her advanced training in orthopedic medicine, along with spending time as a critical care provider are not only assets to our team, but also our community of patients and families."

Estabrook's approach to care is rooted in her desire to actively listen and effectively communicate with her patients. She spends time with each of her patients and their family members to understand their condition, and work as a team to identify an individualized, specific treatment plan that aligns with the patient's values and health care needs.

According to Estabrook, her love of orthopedics and sports medicine led her to pursue a career in medicine. She received a bachelor's degree in athletic training from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. After working as an orthopedic medical assistant, Estabrook completed a physician assistant certification at the University of Washington in Seattle. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, she served in a critical care unit and is excited to pursue her passion of orthopedic medicine.

When Estabrook isn't caring for patients, she enjoys spending time with her dog exploring the Pacific Northwest's local parks, beaches and mountains.
