Surgical Care - Tan offers advanced surgical technologies to ensure unsurpassed care and support, followed by recuperation in the comfort of your own home.

Our expert surgeons, anesthesiologists and skilled nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality same-day outpatient surgery in a warm and supportive environment.

With eight state-of-the-art operating suites and one procedure room, we perform more than 9,000 procedures annually. We are accredited by Medicare and The Joint Commission.

Easy Access for Patients

We are located on the 5th floor of the EvergreenHealth Surgery and Physician Center (Tan Zone), adjacent to EvergreenHealth Medical Center.

There is direct access to the facility via the top floor entrance to the East parking garage (across from the Hospice Center).

Parking is free.

Breast: biopsy, tumor removal

Colorectal: hemorrhoids, fissures, fistulas, pilonidal cysts, rectoceles

Cosmetic: tummy tuck, eyelid surgery, liposuction, breast augmentation, breast reduction, rhinoplasty, facelift

Ear, Nose and Throat: tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, ear tube insertion, septoplasty, treatment of sinus/nasal bone fracture, balloon sinuplasty, para-thyroidectomy, thyroidectomy, laryngoscopy

Gynecologic: hysteroscopy, ablation (Novasure / Versapoint / Thermaballoon), D and C, laparoscopic treatment of pelvic pain/masses/endometriosis, cervical LEEP, hysteroscopic Essure , laparoscopic tubal ligation / occlusion / fulguration

Ophthalmology: blepharoplasty, cyst removal, entropian reconstruction, eye muscle repair, levator muscle surgery, pterygium excision, blocked tear ducts

Orthopedic: fracture repair, hand, foot, ankle and shoulder surgery; knee arthroscopy, ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff tendon repair, carpal tunnel release, laminectomy

Financial Arrangements

EvergreenHealth Surgery Care - Tan is committed to reducing the cost of quality healthcare.

To simplify your bill, we have established a single basic charge for each procedure. This covers your use of the facility, including pre-operative evaluation, operating and recovery rooms, equipment, supplies, and drugs used while here.

The basic charge does not include the following:

• Surgeon's fee or the fees of the anesthesiologist, pathologist, radiologist and/or other physician
• Prescriptions for home use
• Blood and blood substitutes
• Laboratory work
• Expenses associated with transfer to a hospital, if necessary

You will receive separate bills for the above services.

A Patient Account Representative will call you to discuss the amount required for your particular surgery and insurance plan. Should your insurance not cover the full cost of your stay, a deposit will be required on the day of surgery.

For your convenience, we accept cash, personal check, Visa, Discover Card, MasterCard or American Express.

Please be sure to bring your insurance card, insurance coupon and your photo ID.
