The Washington Recovery Help Line is an anonymous and confidential help line that provides crisis intervention and referral services for Washington State residents. Professionally trained volunteers and staff are available to provide you with emotional support 24 hours a day and offer local treatment resources for substance abuse disorder, gambling addiction and mental health, as well as to other community services.

Alcoholics Anonymous
Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) has been helping alcoholics overcome their addiction for decades. This free program offers meetings in your area in numerous formats that give you and others a chance to share how addiction has affected their lives. Those in recovery also share what they did to stop drinking and how their recovery is going in their daily lives. Find a meeting near you.
Narcotics Anonymous
Narcotics Anonymous (NA) is a nonprofit global organization that hosts meetings for anyone who is experiencing addiction. It is a free program that consists of regular meetings geared toward helping you recover from addiction. NA says that these group sessions and the relationships formed during these meetings have been shown to help guide attendees through recovery, help keep them from relapsing and provide a support system if they do return to their addiction. Al-Anon/Alateen
Al-Anon and Alateen are global organizations that hold meetings and share information to support individuals with a loved one who is experiencing addiction. Al-Anon is a support group for peers who learn and share their experience applying Al-Anon principles to issues they experience related to the individual in their lives with addiction. Alateen meetings are support groups for teens who are experiencing addiction through someone in their lives. These organizations also provide virtual meetings. Find a meeting near you.
