Inpatient Care at Our Hospice Center
There may be times when symptoms (such as severe pain or nausea) cannot be managed in the patient's home.
When this occurs, your hospice team may suggest temporary inpatient care (typically three to five days) at the Gene and Irene Wockner Hospice Center.
The Center provides eligible individuals short-term acute care, covered under the hospice benefit, with the goal of discharging home once symptoms have been stabilized.
For those interested, a private pay residential program is also available.
