EvergreenHealth's comprehensive Gynecology Care is made up of specialized staff and providers offering compassionate and expert care.

We'll help you ensure good gynecologic health by setting up your annual visit with us. This is important to preventative care and typically includes a pelvic exam, breast exam and other screening tests you and your provider determine are necessary.

During your check-up, your provider can also help you decide on the right birth control options if you determine you'd like to explore birth control.

If you're experiencing menopause, our provider can help you with managing your menopausal symptoms, including cramps, hot flashes and emotional instability. It is important that you discuss these symptoms directly with your provider as each individual experiences menopause differently.

Our providers are also specialized in menstrual difficulties, including conditions like:

• Heavy Periods
• Irregular Periods

Your provider will be able to diagnose and offer treatment options for all of these conditions. They'll also be able to help you choose the best treatment option for you and your lifestyle.

If necessary, you'll receive osteoporosis care from your gynecologist. Osteoporosis, a disease that thins and weakens your bones, can be treated through pain relievers along with other medication and treatments that help strengthen your bones and prevent fractures.

If you are sexually active, your provider can also help you prevent, diagnose and treat sexually transmitted diseases.
