When a heart attack strikes, every minute counts. If you are experiencing chest pain, call 9-1-1 immediately. Calling 9-1-1 is almost always the fastest way to get lifesaving treatment. Emergency medical services staff can begin treatment when they arrive.

The EvergreenHealth Emergency Department is specially equipped to diagnose and treat chest discomfort and other subtle early signs of a possible heart attack.

Our 4 trauma rooms and 28 private acute treatment rooms are all equipped with full cardiac monitoring.

We have a state-of-the-art diagnostic suite dedicated to cardiac catheterization.

Door-to-Balloon Time

EvergreenHealth prides itself in our "door-to-balloon" time - the time it takes to reopen blocked arteries with balloon angioplasty and allow blood flow once again.
