Personal Information

I'm from a ranching and veterinary medicine family in Western Montana. I grew up knowing that I wanted to work in "human medicine".
I became a Registered Respiratory Therapist and work almost exclusively in the adult critical care unit. It was here that I knew I wanted to continue to advance my career in health care.
I met my wife in physician assistant school in Montana. We took our first jobs together in her home town in rural Wisconsin. We knew we both wanted to return to the Pacific Northwest and when the opportunity presented its self we jumped and moved to Kirkland.
We enjoy boating on Lake Washington and The Sound, hiking in the Cascades, and visiting the many farmers markets throughout the summer. We continue to help out, when we can, on the family ranch.

I was impressed with Rolin P.'s knowledge of my history, findings and course of treatment, and engagement in the plan per Dr. Collins even though he was meeting me for the first time. He readily shared his knowledge in answer to my questions, e.g., did I qualify to receive oxygen at home and why/when I might need to go to the ER in the event of serious SOB.
