Philosophy of Care

I strive to develop a caring and personal relationship with you and your family. My goal is to create an environment in which you are educated and encouraged to make your own health care decisions in a safe and supportive environment. I feel that labor and birth should be a positive and enlightening experience for both the parents and the entire family.
I am an ally to our LGBTQ+ community and provide a safe space for all of my patients to discuss their unique health care needs.

Personal Information

I love being able to support women in all stages of life, and midwifery gives me the opportunity to enjoy a relationship with my clients.
In my spare time (ha!) I enjoy raising my family (4 kids) on an 18 acre farm, quilting, reading, hiking and playing softball.

Community Involvement

Our farm is a neighborhood co-op. I also volunteer at my children's school, and am currently training to walk 60 miles in 3 days to help find a cure for breast cancer.
