All year my blood pressure has been scary high numbers. Saw Dr. Benes, picked up new prescription, and my blood pressure was 119/71 HR - 36. Good experience, problem solved!!!!!!!!

Dr. Benes is amazing. She takes the time to listen and provides clear explanations. She treats me with respect and does not talk down to me as her patient. She considers what I have to say and we have great discussions about my health and the science and research supporting my condition.

I had been told by a different health care professional that they thought they heard a heart murmur. I had seen Dr. Benes about 16 months earlier for just a routine visit to get a baseline on my heart. She remembered that interaction. She said she didn't hear a heart murmur, but out of an abundance of caution given my family's heart issues she ordered an echocardiogram and a calcium score test. I was fully informed about both. I got the echocardiogram scheduled before I left her office and was given a paper that fully disclosed that insurance wouldn't cover the calcium score and what my cost would be. I was told they would call me and I got a call within 72 hours. I felt heard and cared about as both a patient and as a human being. I would recommend Dr. Benes to anyone with cardiac concerns.

I like my care provider. I found it a little difficult to understand what course of action she suggested taking. I will definitely refer to the after-care summary, but I hope I will remember what she mentioned about directions. It is difficult to process all the information as a patient, since you yourself are not in the medical profession.

Dr. Benes is very caring and attentive to your concerns and is always informed and aware of your medical history when you come in for your appt.

Dr. Benes is very good at putting all of the variables and test results related to a heart issue into perspective. I feel I have a good understanding of where my heart issues (which have been more confusing than serious) are at this point.
