Dr. Hakkinen is the best doctor I've ever had. He sets clear expectations for every appointment, thoroughly answers questions, thoughtfully considers all information presented, and is up to date on the newest and most effective treatments for a variety of conditions. He makes me feel listened to and believed, which can be rare when discussing headaches. He always makes me feel like I have the final say in my plan of care, presenting me with all the options and allowing me to choose which medications might work best with my lifestyle. I have been thoroughly impressed by the care I've received.

It seemed like the MD took his time, asked a lot of open-ended questions, and also let me just talk about it in my own words instead of following a rigid assessment. Honestly, I haven't felt like a doctor has listened to me like that before. It didn't feel rushed or formulaic like most healthcare appointments tend to do.

This was a transfer of care appointment and I couldn't be happier! Dr Hakkinen was friendly, thorough, listened to me, was knowledgeable, and provided me with valuable new advice and tips in addition to the medical treatments we discussed. Highly recommend this doctor!
