Seemed to take my word for it that there might be a corn involved, and that might be related to the pain I was reporting. No evidence of review of my X-rays. No discussion of surgery options.Left with only a post-it note with a list of a few products that would keep toes apart.

He didn't quite address all of my concerns. There were two areas of pain and one was very much addressed, but the other one wasn't really, other than testing function of that part of foot and reviewing x-rays. It wasn't at all clear to me that there was any potential explanation offered for the pain in the one area.

Dr. Moodley is great. I never give anyone a 10, on general principle, but he's close. I have recommended him to others. He is down-to-earth, easy to talk to and makes the patient comfortable.

He told me the diagnosis, But out details explanation of how worse is the situation. I would have take better care of myself. If I know more information about my diagnosis, I realize how poor is his explanation and care. until I got my second opinion from other places.

First, I know that he is a very busy provider and not all providers are the same...and I may set my expectations high. But I am/was frustrated with this provider. This was my second visit with him. At the first visit, he recommended orthotics to try and help my foot and was going to give it 4-6 weeks and if it didn't improve, was maybe going to consider a fracture boot and an MRI. 6 weeks after that appointment, I contacted him as I was still hurting sometimes. He responded with wanting me to give it 3-4 MORE weeks to see if the pain did not resolve or worsened. I think it was on the exact 3 week mark after he said that when I called to schedule a follow up, and he was booked out so I then had to wait 4 more weeks to finally see him. In the meantime I ended up taking pain medication to try and help me get through. That whole thing is a big reason why I was frustrated. His diagnoses also didn't seem consistent at the time but maybe I misunderstood. I think I got most of the explanation of what was going on by researching the conditions online. When he listed his recommendations out, he started with recommendations that he did not even include in my visit notes which, I think, led to confusion on my legal guardian's (my dad's) end. He did not really discuss what each of the proposed treatments/recommendations would entail (for example, he recommended a TENS Unit and I think I looked online to find out what it was). I was overwhelmed. All in all, I'm now in a fracture boot and am set up for an MRI and physical therapy after having to wait all of that time.

Dr. Moodley listened carefully, had creative suggestions and behaved toward me as a whole person not just a person with a concern in his specialty area.
