I feel like despite my symptoms and pain, Dr. Ludwig wants to put off the surgery as long as possible, which isn't a great feeling as a patient, I felt like my symptoms didn't matter.

He was giving us mixed messages during the exam, but then agreed the surgical option was best in this case. Part of it was my mental status from the discomfort... It was not a great GI day

Neither good nor bad during the surgery doctor made a judgment call to use mesh which was not expected. I trust his call.
