Philosophy of Care

I take great pleasure in listening to and speaking with patients to understand how I can help them to achieve their individual goals. My goal as an Ortho PA is to provide compassionate care to all my patients. I believe this is best achieved through honest communication, patient-provider collaboration, and patient education. My knowledge, and background provide a unique perspective and aide me in playing a supportive role in providing quality orthopedic and sports medicine care to improve my patients' quality of life.

Personal Information

I grew up in New Mexico where I led an active lifestyle. I played a variety of sports growing up and had my share of injuries, both of which helped to develop an interest in sports medicine and orthopedics.
Outside of work, I can be found walking, running, hiking or paddle boarding with my pup. I also enjoy weight training and CrossFit when time allows. I love to explore the great foods Seattle has to offer and I have a weakness for ice cream!

I was hoping that "The Provider" was just having a bad day and needed some mercy and grace. The second visit was the same as the first.

A little awkward, and because I'm transgender she asked A LOT of really personal/inappropriate questions.

Roxanne will never be my first choice on a provider. She needs to introduce herself when enter a patient room who has never met her before. She didn't seem to really care about my pain in shoulder and I had to request an X-ray a few times to actually get one. I don't feel I was properly looked over for the amount of pain I was in.
