Philosophy of Care

All patients are unique. While the concerns or pathology may be similar, bodies, goals and priorities may be different. Whether my patient is a weekend warrior, competitive athlete or retiree, I work to get them back to their desired activities as quickly and safely as possible. We work together to make the most appropriate treatment plan beginning with non-operative options when appropriate.
When operative treatment is needed I apply the latest technology and use minimally invasive techniques. A successful surgery is only part of what is required for an excellent outcome. The post-operative recovery and rehabilitation is crucial to the success of most procedures. To this end, I believe it is critical to remain supportive and involved in patient care until recovery is complete.

I have referred countless friends to Dr Clinton. She is a phenomenal doctor and surgeon; she knows what she is talking about, able to handle complex situations and medicine appropriately, but she is also a welcoming and caring human. It is easy to see why she is so well-liked, which goes so much further beyond good healthcare. The office and entire team are just as great - you're lucky to have them!

The doctor made my day. We kind of took these steroid shot off the table for now and we're gonna do physical therapy but no surgery is needed and I don't have arthritis so I couldn't be happier and I can't wait to start physical therapy so thank you for not having to chop me up, lol

I've seen this person before and she's always been wonderful. She wasn't the same in this appointment. She walked in the door and crossed her arms and began the discussion with a closed disposition. I have suffered tremendously for years and found myself having to be in an appointment where I felt like I was on trial, explaining what I've lived through and explaining how I've gotten to where I have gotten to. Doing this was like having to be on trial and cut into her compassion.

Dr. Clinton and I discussed the various ways I was managing my condition versus the surgical options for both the short and long term. This included aspects of my internal bio feedback as well future clinical evaluations and visits. Dr. Clinton discussed my specific condition using a balanced combination of exam data and her opinion gave me a level of trust and a feeling of comfort working with her as the future unfolds.

I am absolutely pleased with Dr. Clinton's interaction with my daughter, my husband, and me. Dr. Clinton asked my daughter (the patient) questions and didn't expect me to have the answers. This gave me the impression that Dr. Clinton trusted and respected her as the patient, and accepted her experience and feedback. Throughout all of our appointments, Dr. Clinton was very professional and forthcoming with as much information as we could understand. I would highly recommend Dr. Clinton to anyone.

I wasn't expecting an x-ray prior to seeing her. I would have liked to have discussed my concerns about x-ray exposure (I've had breast cancer) prior to my x-ray. I felt rushed and concern for lead shield with genitals but not with breast.
