Philosophy of Care

All nurse practitioners started out as nurses, and I carry that heritage with me still. I want you to understand what we are doing, and why we are doing it. I want you to get 'the big picture' and the little pieces that fit together to make it. Being hospitalized can be overwhelming, and my goal is to provide state of the art healthcare with clarity, connection and a sense of direction that we can both share.

Other Training

Arizona State University (acute care nurse practitioner) | Tempe, AZ

Personal Information

I have always viewed myself as a citizen of the world. I was first a foreign exchange student in high school through AFS, and as an adult my family has hosted seven high school foreign exchange students from six different countries. As a result, I have children all over the world!
We also have rescued dogs, usually ones that needed specialized medical care prior to finding their forever homes. We have become experts at canine postoperative care and training along the way. They all start out terrified and hurting. We enjoy watching them blossom, trust and be happy in our house.
