Dee brings more than 33 years of experience in healthcare to the Board of Commissioners with a high level of continuing education; Dee holds a Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP), a Master's in Nursing Anesthesia (MNNA) and a Bachelor in Science Nursing (BSN) degrees. She is an advocate for quality healthcare, holding several different positions on various healthcare related committees across the nation. Some of her prior elected positions include Chair of the Professional Development Committee for American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology; Board of Directors, Federal Political Director and Chair for the Political Action Committee for the Washington Association of Nurse Anesthetists; and being on the Practice Panel for the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists. Her current term extends to 2029.
