Personal Information

I decided to become a doctor to help people, and every day I feel blessed to have that opportunity. I am grateful to many of my patients who have shared their lives with me during their most difficult times.
I chose my field because of my interest in the musculoskeletal system and biomechanical function of the human body. Rehabilitation and restoring patients' function is very gratifying.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and my three energetic children. Our family food of choice is sushi! My hobbies include guitar, karaoke, golf, snowboarding and cheering for our local sports teams. 

Community Involvement

I enjoy being involved in the community. I volunteer to provide medical care at local sports events such as local high school football games and soccer tournaments. 
I also volunteer through a local church and our family supports charities such as Red Cross and Charity Water.

Dr Lee is by far the best dr I've ever seen. He's unbelievably insightful, kind, and incredibly smart. He is honest and not afraid to say things that may be considered controversial. If he could be my general gp I'd be thrilled. I've been singing his praises this entire week. Evergreen is absolutely lucky to have dr Lee.

I just want to say I have been struggling with chronic back pain for 4 years. The treatment I receive as a chronic pain patient is usually horrible. Every specialist and believe me I see alot just try and throw nerve meds and antidepressants at me. They never listen just and force epidural corticosteroid injections and get upset or drop me as a patient if I say no. This is the only specialist that actually had taken the time to not only get all my imaging but actually look at them before my appointment. He was funny, his bedside manner was beyond what I have ever experienced from a specialist before. His explanations about what he thought was causing pain was the first time in 4 years I actually agreed with and made prefect sense. He also charted diagnosises which I have been desperately seeking for years. I can not stand walk or sit for long periods of time do to muscle tightness in spasms in my back. Your provider had the most up to date knowledge of new treatments as well. I also love that he did not push them on me he gave me the information said go home do your research and see if it's something you want to try. I love that this provider thinks outside the box and is very honest and forthcoming with all the information. Back pain is hard to pin point and lots of times there is not much you can do about it. This is the best specialist by far I have been treated by. I have been to Swedish, providence, the UW, and Skagit regional specialist. I love evergreen have had all my children there and your providers are well above any other hospitals in the area. Whatever you do to keep amazing happy providers and nurses you are doing something very right. Always appreciate your care.

I have been seeing numerous providers recently and thought to myself after Dr. Lee's visit that he is a huge credit to his profession. He is ultra intelligent, yet has a very approachable demeanor and truly cares about the overall health of this patient. He gave ample time to fully answer my questions and develop a plan moving forward for my care. I typically don't comment on surveys; however, Dr. Lee deserves the extra credit and Evergreen should feel honored to have him on their staff. What a nice surprise for me!

Dr. Lee did not rush during my appointment, recommended conservative care first, listened to my explanation of my condition and concerns, explained in detail the options and treatment plan, risks and benefits of medications prescribed. I feel very comfortable with him.
