Keeping You Healthy
Health Coverage
Our coverage is provided through the First Choice Health Network and gives you the ability to pick coverage that fits your needs. You have your choice of two plans: the PPO Plan and the Health Savings Medical Plan. Under the Health Savings Plan, EvergreenHealth pays 100% of your coverage, while under the PPO plan, EvergreenHealth subsidizes your coverage. You will pay for dependent coverage in all plans.

Planning for Your Future
Retirement Planning
EvergreenHealth encourages saving for your retirement by offering a plan in which both you and EvergreenHealth contribute to your savings. The plan is administered by Fidelity Investments and is available to employees working 20 or more hours each week.
There are two parts to your retirement plan:
- The 457(b) Deferred Compensation Plan will automatically deposit 4% of your pre-tax earnings unless you opt out within 60 days of being hired. You may also adjust your contribution amount.
- The 401(a) plan includes EvergreenHealth’s contribution, which up to 50% of the first 8% you defer to your 457(b) plan. Additionally, EvergreenHealth contributes a percentage of your total compensation to your 401(a) following your first year of continuous employment. This amount is deposited quarterly and increases the longer you stay employed at EvergreenHealth.
Long-Term Disability Coverage
EvergreenHealth provides employer-paid long-term disability (LTD) coverage to all benefit-eligible employees, which replaces a percentage of your salary when you're disabled and unable to work for an extended period.

EvergreenHealth's Tuition Reimbursement Program provides assistance to those employees who have been continuously employed for at least 3 months and are pursuing degrees and certificates that are relevant to their continued employment in any position at EvergreenHealth.
