Philosophy of Care

As a family nurse practitioner, my personal philosophy is to treat each patient as a whole, while respecting their health literacy and intrinsic motivation. I believe that every patient's voice deserves to be heard, especially those whose voices tend to be silenced. It is my duty as their healthcare provider to provide a therapeutic presence and a safe space for all their health and wellness needs to be met to the best of my ability. I want to encourage patients to practice their freedom of choice while working collaboratively to educate patients on treatment options that work best for them and their lifestyle.

Personal Information

As a Washington native, I love being near the water and the mountains. The landscape of the PNW is beautiful and I appreciate living in a place that has four temperate seasons. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, running, yoga, reading, traveling and hanging out with my dog, Hank.
