Volunteer at EvergreenHealth
The desire to serve the community is at the heart of everything EvergreenHealth and its partners do, which is why we offer our community members the opportunity to volunteer at both of our hospital campuses.
At EvergreenHealth's Kirkland and Monroe campuses, you have the chance to help others, learn and explore the medical field, giving you an inside look into how your community-based hospital operates.
You will join a team of volunteers that includes former EvergreenHealth patients who were inspired by the level of care they received, former employees who continue to seek out ways to give back and young community members who are interested in the medical field.
EvergreenHealth in Kirkland
Our Kirkland campus currently offers three volunteer programs: Hospital Volunteers, Hospice Volunteers and Animal-Assisted Therapy.
Hospital volunteers are the supportive backbone to our departments as well as offer a bright smile at our public-facing positions in the gift shops and information desks.
Hospice volunteers offer a compassionate presence to patients in their home, care facilities or at the hospice center.
Animal-assisted therapy teams help visitors and patients reduce anxiety, stress and other conditions associated with a hospital stay by bringing a furry friend to their side, helping them feel less isolated. Read more
