Community Advisors

EvergreenHealth Monroe's Community Advisors is a group of community members who develop an extensive network professionally and socially as part of their efforts to ensure access to exceptional care for everyone and advise our Board of Commissioners on important topics essential to the community's health and wellness. As volunteers, the advisors utilize their exceptional passion and enthusiasm for our community's wellbeing to reinforce the important values of EvergreenHealth Monroe—your community-owned hospital.

Community Advisors attend four educational sessions throughout the year where they learn about healthcare issues facing the community and about EvergreenHealth Monroe programs and services to address those issues. They also serve on internal task forces and committees and represent EvergreenHealth Monroe at regional community events.

Community Members serve three-year terms. Qualifications include community involvement, professional and/or volunteer experience, strong interpersonal, oral and written skills and an interest in healthcare delivery.

Many of our advisors have served multiple terms, adding up to more than 20 years of service. The group commonly consists of past and present patients of EvergreenHealth Monroe as well as retired EvergreenHealth Monroe employees who want to stay connected to their professional home and our community.
