Lisa LaPlante, MHA
Chief Administrative Officer, EvergreenHealth Monroe
Lisa LaPlante, who holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration, joined EvergreenHealth Monroe in early 2010 as the Chief Quality and Compliance Officer. She was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2017 with a focus on service line enhancement, development, and overall hospital operations. LaPlante has served as the Chief Administrative Officer and Snohomish County Public
Hospital District #1 (SCPHD#1) Superintendent since 2019.
Born and raised in Rhode Island, LaPlante moved west in 1993, where she began her healthcare career managing a hospital-based home health agency in Moab, Utah. She spent the next 8 years expanding the service to include growing an additional four branches, a hospice, and a certified diabetes education program. Prior to leaving Utah, LaPlante managed an urgent care clinic and also obtained clinic licensure as a durable medical equipment provider.
In 2002, LaPlante relocated to Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez, Colorado, where she gained increased responsibility in the areas of quality, safety, utilization review, risk management, and plant operations. In 2007, she became a part of the executive team as the Chief Quality and Compliance Officer.
She lives in Monroe and is active member in the community, serving on the Snohomish County YMCA Executive Board. LaPlante is an Association of Washington Public Hospital Districts (AWPHD) board member and a member of the Washington State Hospital Association’s (WSHA) Worker’s Compensation Committee.
