Nancy Stewart was selected by the EvergreenHealth Board in July 2023 to serve in Position #1, following the retirement of 40-plus-year board member Al DeYoung. A former EvergreenHealth employee, Nancy joined the organization in June 2012 and served in progressive leadership roles over the course of 11 years, culminating in her position as Executive Director of Hospital & Specialty Medicine. Nancy holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership with Servant Leader concentration from Gonzaga University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Health Services Management & Communications from Eastern Washington University. Nancy's history as a patient, patient advocate, community stakeholder and former long-term employee fuels her desire to support exceptional care for all those we serve.
