Comprehensive Stroke Center Certification

EvergreenHealth Stroke Care has earned the Comprehensive Stroke Center Certification from Det Norske Veritas (DNV) for 2022. This means that EvergreenHealth meets the highest national standards for stroke care.

The award recognizes EvergreenHealth as having the experts on staff and the advanced equipment necessary to diagnose, treat and support stroke patients who need highly intensive medical or surgical treatment. This could also involve specialized tests and interventional therapies.

EvergreenHealth's stroke team, which is part of the Eastside Neuroscience Institute, is one of the few Comprehensive Stroke Centers in Washington state certified by DNV.
